Start with one useful, testable observation. Publishing it begins a record; Ascension is a later outcome, not a reward for posting.
What earns a record
An Ascension record must name its source Imprint and the proving level it reached. A submission alone does not qualify.
Illustrative example · not a recorded event
An observation identifies a recurring failure, survives a recorded test, and is later carried into an Ascension. Until that final record exists, it remains an Imprint.
This example does not affect counts, standing or proof feeds.
